CNC router is one of the most versatile tool for any woodworking operation. It can be used to cut to desired size, chamfer, grooving, pocket and carve. Hence, it is very suitable for furniture making. For example, manufacture the table, chair, wooden rod for window, cabinet and so on.
Manufacture of a meeting table
The photos below show the parts in a meeting table which are cut by CNC router.
The procedure to manufacture the meeting table:
- Set up the CNC router machine with appropriate cutting tool and setting.
- Make sure the material is fixed on its position.
- Start the CNC router machine and cut the material according to the g code.
- Take out each part from the wooden board and carry out secondary process if needed.
- Assembly all the parts according to the manual.
- Laminate the top surface of the meeting table with a wooden laminate sheet.
- Paint on the shellac on all the outer surface to enhance its appearance.
